Things have been interesting in the "Land-O-Jill"
We have had some incredible evening skies.
We have experienced a little snow and cold weather.
The low last night was -11.
We also had 50mph wind to go with that.
A wonderful combination.....if you are a Polar Bear.
The minis have been staying inside here and there.
We all know that Miss Judy May is not a fan of the cold weather.
Otis enjoys it though.
He has a very thick coat of fur.
Smudge is a huge fan of the snow, but not the really cold weather.
Luckily these photos were taken when it was a bit warmer.
Lots of feet.
The little hoof prints are adorable.
Otis and Ollie soaking up some sun.
The Zipster on his way to the shop with me.
He was very sad that he forgot his sunglasses.
Even the birds had snow drifts.
Zippy pretending he is a unicorn.
Smudge has developed a new sledding technique.
I think she would be good at Curling. She is very well balanced.
Go, Smudge!
Down the hill she goes.
Where she stops....nobody knows.
On and on.
Then...racing back up.
Yay!!
Fun!
One more time.
Down the hill again.
Picking up speed.
Yay!!!
Getting cold....time to go in, Smudge.
Run fast.
Time for one more dive into the soft snow.
Okay folks.....this is a look at my new super top secret project.
Concrete with fiber optic lighting.
Also with the added bonus of Jak's glass.
I call this my Frodotype...
It is an extravaganza of light and color.
It has a color wheel that makes the lights sparkle and change color.
(By the way...I know that Hobbits do not live in trees...this one made an exception)
I have carved several small surprises into it...some are evident and some are not.
New lessons have been learned with this process and I will be incorporating more lighting
into a future even more top secret project. It is very time consuming, but the end result is magical.
I still have to stain this piece and seal it, so stay tuned for more photos of the finished product.
Now.....If I could only get it to play "Misty Mountain Hop" by Led Zeppelin....hmmm..
Weird tree.
Zippy rolling on poop.
He has a big smile on his face....me...not so much.
Smudge and Max.
Max always sneaks up on Smudge and gives her a nip in her rear.
She is not quite as fast as he is and he knows it.
After a while, Smudge will chase Max around to show him that isn't a nice way to treat a lady.
Good girl, Smudge.
Send that little wiener dog to me....I will address the problem.
Address him and send him to the Arctic circle.
Hello little piggy.
More pretty sky shots.
Jak's glass on our railing.
This little beauty, by Jak Brewer, is now living in my home.
I LOVE it!!
Stay tuned for more fun adventures and don't forget the concrete!!
XOXO
Why did I know you would be rolling around in the snow Smudge
