Thank You.

I want to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you for the wonderful comments
that you have left for Bumble.

It truly means more to me than you can imagine and your kindness is overwhelming.
Your comments and tributes on fellow blogs have helped me so much.

When you are around animals...you know their lives are short and that "things" happen that
are out of your control.  However there is never a way to prepare yourself for the shock
of a sudden tragedy.
You work through these life events one day at a time.
I am not being flip when I say this....but you really do
"feel the love"
from those around you through thoughts, prayers and comments.
To all of you out there that also loved Bumble through this blog...
I want to say to you that I am sorry for your loss as well.

A friend of ours that also lost their beautiful bulldog a day after Bumble's death; sent me this beautiful quote that I would like to share.

"It came to me that every time I lose a dog, they take a piece of my heart with them.  And every new dog
who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart.  If I live long enough, all of the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are."  (Cheryl Zuccaro)

We were interviewed a couple of weeks ago by Marshal Zeringue on his Coffee with a Canine blog.
I think of the interview as a touching tribute to Bumble.

Thanks to all of you....
Jill

  9. I thought I had your email, I don't. I've been thinking of you constantly. Next week is the 2 year anniversary of losing Panda, my sweet Bullie Boy. I can just picute he, Bumble and Hannah all romping around in the tall grass, sunning their bellies in the warm sun and taking a snore-filled snooze in the shade together up at that Rainbow Bridge. That's what gets me through the loss, knowing they are with other Bullies snortin' and fartin' their little hearts out! I LOVE that quote. Makes me cry, but makes me feel so much better at the same time. I hope it does the same for you. I miss you Miss Bumble and I love you tons miss Jill! The Weezy Woo is sending you schloppy Bulldog kisses, hers misses Bumble too. Hang in there!! -Sara.

  10. That is a wonderful quote and a beautiful way to look at such a unique loss. There is nothing like the partnership between a person and a dog.

  11. And one more thing, I visited the blog with the interview and you're right, a great tribute to Bumble and your other two friends. I loved getting to know more about how you all came together and a little more about you.
